This role is pretty grunty and if you are up for the challenge, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery and implementation of communications and engagement strategies and plans that align with the Mackenzie District Councils strategic priorities and culture. Not only that you will play a key part in providing communications and engagement advice and services to internal and external stakeholders, be involved in creating and implementing internal and external communications plans and campaigns, including determining the success measures.
You will stand out from the crowd for this role due to your proven background and level of experience in communications, public relations or journalism, your proven and credible track record of engagement with communities, papatipu rūnanga, iwi, mana whenua and key stakeholders. We know that’s probably just the beginning of your skills, experience and knowledge but it gives you an idea of what’s needed to nail it.
